What we need from you
- Always: loading address, consignee, description of goods and weight – for booking and bill of lading
- If we handle export customs: commercial invoice and packing list
- For vehicles: type of engine (petrol, diesel, hybrid, electric) – for dangerous goods also a DGD and safety data sheet (MSDS)
- Wooden packaging and pallets must be treated and marked according to ISPM 15.
Which other documents are needed depends on the goods – we will let you know in advance.
Good to know
Sea freight to Egypt is subject to the ACI procedure (Advance Cargo Information): the consignee applies for an ACID number before shipment, and the shipper must be registered on the CargoX platform. We will support you with this.
