How your export works
Goods, quantity and destination port – you receive a quote quickly.
We deliver the container to your loading site or load it for you.
Transport to the port of Hamburg and, if required, the export declaration (ATLAS).
Check status and ETA online at any time.
What we need from you
- Always: loading address, consignee, description of goods and weight – for booking and bill of lading
- If we handle export customs: commercial invoice and packing list
- For vehicles: type of engine (petrol, diesel, hybrid, electric) – for dangerous goods also a DGD and safety data sheet (MSDS)
- Wooden packaging and pallets must be treated and marked according to ISPM 15.
Which other documents are needed depends on the goods – we will let you know in advance.
Good to know
For every sea freight shipment to the USA, an ISF (Importer Security Filing, “10+2”) must be submitted at least 24 hours before loading at the port of departure. We coordinate the required data with you and the consignee early on.
